Obama calls for action from Europe

Report of speech by 2008 US Presidential candidate Barack Obama in Berlin, 24 July 2008 as part of a short tour of Europe. In his speech Mr Obama reached out to Europe to join the US in solving global problems of terrorism, poverty and climate change but said that European countries must 'take on more responsibility' in making it an equal partnership.
