One year on, refugee children still need greater protection

The washed-up image of the drowned Syrian boy Aylan Kurdi on 2 September 2015 provoked international outcry. It helped focus attention on the refugee situation. One year on, still more needs to be done to better protect refugee children, said the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA).
