Operator threatens mobile price rise

The cost of mobile phone use could rise if the European Commission insists on sweeping cuts to wholesale fees that telecoms operators charge to handle calls from other networks, Vodafone warned on the 26 June 2008. This follows the Commission starting a public consultation on the future regulation of 'voice call termination rates', June 2008.
