Orban loses ‘supermajority’ in Hungary parliament

Hungary's governing party Fidesz lost its two-thirds majority in parliament after a by-election defeat on the 22 February 2015.

The so-called 'super-majority' had allowed the Viktor Orban to pass controversial constitutional and legal reforms without the support of other political parties.
