Outrage over corruption in Denmark

Features published before that date are still available via an archive website (see related url hyperlinks).Denmark was rocked by a corruption scandal over fishing quotas in the summer of 2017. Over a period of twelve years a group of so-called 'quota-kings' allegedly procured fishing licenses using fake papers and sold them on to fishermen. As many as eight ministers were potentially involved in the illegal trading. The Danish press was up in arms.
