Overseas investments in Europe drop in 2009

Reports from the World Investment Conference, La Baule, 2-4 June 2010 and in particular the launch there of Ernst & Young's European Attractiveness Survey 2009. EurActiv reports that foreign investment projects in Europe fell by 11% in 2009 but larger Western European markets were still seen as safe havens in uncertain times, according to the E&Y study.
