Paris and Berlin could toughen Iran sanctions

Germany and France may consider further sanctions against Iran if it does not give up its nuclear programme, the leaders of both countries warned on the 4 February 2009. The warning came as diplomats representing the 'group of six' - the US, China, Russia, Britain, France and Germany - gathered near Frankfurt to discuss Iran.
