The foreign ministers of Morocco and Spain finalised a US-brokered resolution to their dispute over the Mediterranean island of Perejil in Rabat on 22 July 2002. Under the resolution the island will remain unoccupied. Plans were announced for a second meeting in Madrid in September 2002. |
