Piracy, the quiet killer of the EU’s cultural industries

According to a study released on 16 October 2014 by TERA Consultants and the Avignon Forum, the European creative economy shrank between 2008 and 2011 due to inadequate measures to combat piracy. Its conclusions state that slowly but surely, piracy suffocates Europe's cultural industries.
