Poland’s economy remained resilient in the face of the eurozone crisis, with data published on the 31 May 2012 showing the country’s gross domestic product grew 3.5% year on year in the first quarter of 2012, largely on the strength of domestic demand.

However, the underlying data suggested that the Polish economy might not be able to continue defying gravity for much longer.
