Poland may lose EU farm subsidies due to IT delay

The European Commission's annual Regular Report on the progress towards accession of Poland, published on 5 November 2003, warns that there is a 'serious risk' that the Integrated Administrative and Control System (IACS) (a computerised farm database) will not be completed by the time Poland enters the European Union on 1 May 2004.
