Poland struggling with Structural Funds

One of the most important challenges for Poland and the other new EU-members was to join the European Union in May, 2004. The main purpose of this paper is to outline briefly the current situation concerning the implementation process of the structural policy in Poland. In this paper the author tries to answer the following questions: How well prepared is the Polish administrative system regarding structural policy of EU? What kind of institutions, rules and policies were created for the structural policy in Poland? Which are the main problems regarding the implementation of EU Funds?
