Poland warns Belarus of revolt

Alexander Lukashenko, the authoritarian ruler of Belarus, would face a popular uprising such as those that took place in north Africa in early 2011 unless he changed course and stopped his crackdown on the opposition, warned Poland’s Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski on the 2 February 2011.
