On President Vladimir Putin’s 65^th anniversary the demonstration in Russia demonstrated in approximately 80 cities. Despite being arrested, Putin critic Alexei Navalny managed to mobilise all over the country. Our policy brief “A New Hope” analyses the conditions of the protest movement of March and June 2017 and the “protest potential” among young Russians.
