Portugal: Presidential Election, 22 January 2006

The Robert Schuman Foundation publishes a series called European Elections Monitor (EEM), which provides preview information and analysis of the major elections taking place in Europe. In the case of each country's election the EEM offers: One month before the election , a reminder of the results of the last election, an analysis of the political players and what is at stake. One week before the election, a round-up of the electoral campaign, a summary of the opinion polls and an objective commentary. The day after the election the results together with a commentary and detailed analyses of the election.
