Portugal’s state airline TAP will receive a capital injection of 205 million ecu

thanks to the clearance of a third instalment of aid by the Commission this week. This aid payment was the penultimate portion of a 925-million-ecu recapitalisation authorised in July 1994, and cleared in stages in accordance with TAP's ability to meet the targets laid out in its 1994-97 restructuring programme.
