Potential impact on SMEs of certain EP amendments to two proposed public procurement directives

This paper contains an assessment of a set of amendments proposed by the Internal Market and Consumer Protection Committee of the European Parliament to the new Public Procurement Directives. The paper first gives a high-level assessment of all proposals that were initially considered relevant from the perspective of SMEs’ access. This is followed followed by a more detailed assessment of those amendments that are likely to have a significant impact on SMEs.
