The Presidents of the European Parliament (Pat Cox), the European Commission (Romano Prodi) and the Committee of the Regions (Peter Straub) are calling for the organisation of public debates on the new European Constitution. They are therefore urging European, national, regional and local representatives from the 25 Member States of the European Union to become involved in the '1000 discussions for Europe' campaign. |
