Press Release: 150 pupils and teachers from EU and applicant countries in Brussels between 26 and 30 November 2001

At the initiative of Viviane Reding, European Commissioner for education and culture, over 150 pupils and teachers from the 30 countries taking part in the Socrates programme of exchange and cooperation in education will be in Brussels for the 'Comenius week', which starts on 26 November 2001 and will give participants and visitors the opportunity to discover transnational cooperation projects organised by schools throughout Europe
