The 17th ASEAN-EU Ministerial Meeting, under the theme of "ASEAN-EU Partnership for Peace, Economic Growth and Development" was held on 27-28 May 2009, in Phnom Penh, Kingdom of Cambodia. The Meeting was opened by Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of
the Kingdom of Cambodia. The Meeting was attended by the Foreign Ministers of the Association of the Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), the Secretary-General of ASEAN and the Foreign Ministers of the European Union (EU).
