According to a recent Eurobarometer survey, 3 out of 4 EU citizens consider corruption to be a major problem in their country. It is therefore worth remembering that the UN has designated 9 December as the international Anti-Corruption Day to raise awareness of corruption and of the role of the United Nations Convention against Corruption which is a unique global instrument prevent and combat corruption world-wide. |
