Preview of the Brussels conference 'Confronting demographic changes: a new solidarity between generations', which started on 11 July 2005. The event was attended by the President of the European Commission, José Manuel Barroso and the European Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities, Vladimír Spidla. The conference was part of the Green Paper process, in which the European Commission opened up a public consultation, until 15 October 2005, under the same title as the conference. |
