The European Commission has formally asked Belgium, Greece, France, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Finland to write into national law the 2001 'fair value' Directive (2001/65/EC) on accounting rules. If no satisfactory response is received within two months, the Commission may decide to take the Member States concerned to the European Court of Justice. |
