Following a three-month consultation exercise which ended on 28.4.00, provision is to be made so that farmers can set the same land aside for a period of five years. This will be known as Multiannual Set-aside. Multiannual Set-aside replaces Guaranteed Set-aside, which closed to new entrants in 1999. |
