Press Release: Brussels Job Day 2009 – job seekers and employers to meet at the Berlaymont

As part of the European Job Days that are being organised in over 200 European cities between mid-September and mid-October 2009, the Brussels European Job Day will take place on 3 October. For the third year running, the event is being held in the European Commission's headquarters, the Berlaymont building. This year emphasis is being placed on matching skills to the needs of the labour market (New skills for new jobs), particularly for young people. Over 80 employers and thousands of European citizens have responded to the Commission’s invitation to meet at the Berlaymont.
