Press Release: Brussels Job Day 2010 – thousands of job seekers to meet employers at EU Headquarters

As part of the European Job Days organised in over 200 European cities between mid-September and mid-October 2010, the Brussels European Job Day will take place on 2 October. For the third year running, the event is being held at the European Commission's headquarters, the Berlaymont building. This year, the emphasis will be on matching skills to the needs of the labour market (New skills for new jobs), particularly for young people. Over 80 recruiting companies and organisations active in employment and thousands of European citizens have responded to the Commission’s invitation to meet at the Berlaymont.
