The European Commission on 14 October 2005 decided to send Hungary a formal request for information concerning the taxation rules that Hungary was applying on the registration of second-hand cars brought into Hungary from other EU Member States. The rules were applied in a way that might be in breach of the EC Treaty provisions on equal treatment of domestic products and those of other Member States. |
