The EESC will adopt a key opinion on "Climate change – the role of civil society" during its September Plenary Session on 13-14 September 2006. The draft opinion, prepared by rapporteur Mr Ehnmark (group II – employees, Sweden) argues that the implication of civil society actors is vital in order raise awareness and prepare concrete steps to fight climate change. |
