Press Release: Cohesion policy: Eastern neighbours to share EU experience in cross-border cooperation

Regional Policy Commissioner Danuta Hübner gave a keynote speech on cross-border cooperation at a conference in Żagań, Poland. Organised by the Polish-German Committee on Interregional Cooperation, the conference brought together representatives of local and regional authorities from both countries to exchange views and experiences of cross-border cooperation on their common frontier. They were joined by observers from regions of Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, and Russia.
