The European Commission on 18 November 2004 authorised, under the Merger Regulation, IBM's proposed acquisition of Danish Information technology (IT) service providers Maersk Data and DMdata. The Commission's investigation indicated that the IT services sector will remain competitive and that end-users would continue to have access to multiple sources of supply. |
