The European Commission hosted a Cartel Workshop on 2-3 October 2003 which brought together around 160 cartelbusters from 35 countries, including the United States, Japan and the new countries that will join the European Union in May 2004. The workshop, the fifth of its kind, enabled officials to share expertise and step up co-operation in the fight against international cartels. |
