The European Commission is to support 142 more projects under the European Year of Languages 2001. The funding announced on 11 June 2001 totals nearly €4.2 million and is additional to the €1.75 million already allocated to 43 projects in January (see IP/01/5). Over 1300 applications were received in all. |
