On 5.4.01, Loyola de Palacio, Vice-President of the European Commission with responsibility for transport and energy, signed a Memorandum of Understanding of Corridor X, connecting Salzburg, Ljubljana, Zagreb, Beograd, Nis, Skopje and Thessaloniki.
