On 5.4.01, Loyola de Palacio, Vice-President of the European Commission with responsibility for transport and energy, signed a Memorandum of Understanding of Corridor X, connecting Salzburg, Ljubljana, Zagreb, Beograd, Nis, Skopje and Thessaloniki. She underlined the great importance of these pan-European Corridors, which aim to vertebrate the European continent by defining main axles of multimodal transports. |
