Press Release: Commissioner Piebalgs and Minister Pinho discuss future challenges ahead of the Energy Council

Energy Commissioner Andris Piebalgs met the Portuguese Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy Manuel Pinho on 24 October 2007 to discuss the main energy issues of the Portuguese Presidency ahead of the Energy Council on 3 December. Their dialogue was focused on the third internal energy market package, the Strategic Energy Technology plan, scheduled by the end of November and the Renewables and Climate change package which will be adopted at the beginning of next year.
