Press Release: Commissioner Piebalgs visits Denmark to discuss development policy

Andris Piebalgs, the European Commissioner for Development, was in Copenhagen on 3 and 4 June 2010 to meet with Soren Pind, Danish Minister for Development, and to attend the Conference on 'EU development cooperation in the light of the Lisbon Treaty', organised by the Danish Council of Development cooperation. He also met with representatives from Danish companies and NGOs active in the renewable energy sector in Africa.
