Press Release: Commissioner Samecki at EUROFI Forum in Sweden (1 October): Cohesion policy’s long-term investment will help Member States beat the recession and increase financial stability

Paweł Samecki, European Commissioner for Regional Policy, will be in Gothenburg (Sweden) on 1 October 2009 to participate in the annual international forum of EUROFI, a think-tank dedicated to European financial and banking services. This event will provide an opportunity for industry and political decision-makers to analyse the impact of EU measures in response to the financial crisis and recession, and to see how to improve the security and efficiency of financial services in Europe.
