Ireland, in November 2013, hosted crucial international negotiations on mackerel quotas for the North East Atlantic at the National Seafood Centre, Clonakilty, County Cork. The week long negotiations began on 18 November 2013. The aim of the negotiations was to try and reach agreement on the sharing arrangements for mackerel between the EU, Norway, Iceland and the Faeroe islands. |
