Press Release: Criminal justice: the mutual recognition of judicial decisions demands stronger mutual trust between Member States

The European Commission on 19 May 2005 adopted a Communication to the European Parliament and the Council on the mutual recognition of judicial decisions in criminal matters and the strengthening of mutual trust between Member States. The Communication develops one of the core messages of the plan of action adopted on 10 May 2005 to give effect to the Hague Programme: strengthening mutual trust.
