Following an invitation from the government of Togo, the European Commission has decided to deploy an EU Election Observation Mission (EOM) for the Presidential elections scheduled to take place on 28 February 2010. This observation mission will be led by the Chief Observer Mr José Manuel Garcia-Margallo y Marfil, who is a member of the European Parliament (ES). |
