Press Release: €30.1 million EU support for the promotion of agricultural products in third countries

The European Commission has approved 20 programmes to promote agricultural products in third countries.

The total budget of the programmes, running for a period of three years, is € 60.2 million of which the EU contributes € 30.1 million (50%).

The selected programmes cover fresh and processed fruit and vegetables, milk and milk products, PDOs (Protected Designations of Origin), PGIs (Protected Geographical Indications) and TSGs (Traditional Specialities Guaranteed), organic food and farming, olive oil, wine and spirits, cereals and rice, horticulture and meat.
