More than a hundred prominent Danish and European researchers, politicians, officials and corporate leaders met in Copenhagen on19-20 April 2005 to discuss challenges and potentials regarding eco-innovation. A new report, resulting from a project financed by the Danish Environmental Protection Agency and entitled 'Green technology foresight about environmentally friendly products and materials: Challenges from nanotechnology, biotechnology and ICT', shows that high technology has environmental potentials in Denmark but that barriers have to be broken down and risks have to be handled. |
