Press Release: England’s roadworks voted best in Europe

England's motorway roadworks have been voted as the safest and most well designed in the whole of Europe in a survey by the AA Motoring Trust. According to the EuroTest survey, which covered ten European countries, roadworks in England have the best signposting, as well as wide, well-marked traffic lanes. The Highways Agency, which issued this press release, is an executive agency of the Department for Transport. It manages, maintains and improves England's motorways and trunk roads on behalf of the Secretary of State.
