The European Policy Group held a meeting on 7 February 2002 to evaluate progress in improving the business environment and to determine how business could better contribute to achieving the EU's stated goal of becoming the most competitive knowledge-based economy in the world by 2010. The meeting gave the Group the opportunity to assess the key obstacles facing business and progress made so far, as well as to focus on getting the most from the internal market and tackling sustainable development issues. |
