Hundreds of European towns and cities participated in the 11th European Mobility Week from 16 to 22 September 2012. Citizens were invited to join in activities promoting alternative modes of transport and reducing private car use. This year’s focus, "Moving in the right direction", aimed to raise awareness of Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans and how to better involve citizens and local stakeholders in the planning process. |
