More than 200 million people across Europe and around the world were expected to take part in European Mobility Week (16-22 September) – the biggest global event dedicated to sustainable urban travel. This year's theme, 'Clean Air for All', encouraged local authorities to organise initiatives that highlight the link between mobility and air quality, and launch permanent measures to cut harmful emissions, such as introducing low-emission zones or parking and bus shuttle services to city centres. |
