The European Commission adopted on 12 June 2002 a communication taking stock of the progress made to improve the EU's preparedness to respond to the consequences of terrorist threats. This Communication follows the Commission's November 2001 Communication, which looked at how to mobilise resources, expertise and networks in the area of civil protection, in the wake of the events of 11 September. |
