Press Release: EU Commissioner Piebalgs in Washington to relaunch the Development dialogue with the USA and to attend the World Bank Development Committee Meeting

On 25 April 2010, EU Commissioner for Development, Andris Piebalgs, was in Washington to relaunch the EU US development dialogue and cooperation, after a 12 year break. Three areas of action have been identified: food security, climate change and the Millennium Development Goals. On the same day, Commissioner Piebalgs attended the annual World Bank Development committee Meeting.
