Press Release: EU drugs agency ‘performing well’, say evaluators

The results of an independent evaluation of the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA), undertaken at the initiative of the European Commission in 2007, and carried out by the UK-based Centre for Strategy and Evaluation Services (CSES), were presented to the EMCDDA Management Board in December 2007 and released on the agency’s website on 30 January 2008. The study examines the performance of the EMCDDA over the period since the last external evaluation was undertaken in 2000-01.
