Press Release: EU High Representative Catherine Ashton sends fact-finding team to Libya ahead of European Council

Catherine Ashton, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, sent a technical fact-finding mission to Libya on 6 March 2011 to assess humanitarian and evacuation efforts on the ground and to make an appraisal of what may be needed in terms of additional support.
