Press Release: EU negotiators in Riyadh for GCC talks; Mandelson offers Hong Kong detour if talks succeed, Brussels, 8 December 2005

European negotiators continued discussions in Riyadh, 8 December 2005, with representatives of the GCC on the EU-GCC free trade agreement. The negotiators are hoping to make significant further progress on a number of elements of the draft agreement, notably those relating to services, investment, public procurement, industrial goods, infant industry, rules of origin and fisheries.
